Install Free SSL Certificate

First Steps:

• Ensure you are logged in to your account.
• Ensure you have Purchased Hosting before following these steps.

Then, choose one of the following options.

Option 1: (common default option - try this one first)

Install your SSL on your website;

1. Click HOSTING from your main account.
2. Click green SETTINGS button on your hosting service.
3. Click LOGIN TO CPANEL on the left hand column menu
4. Under "SECURITY" section, click on the button that says "LET'S ENCRYPT SSL".
5. Under "Actions" click on "+ Issue".

Option 2: (advanced option if you have a website developer)

Install your SSL on your website;

1. Click HOSTING from your main account.
2. Click green SETTINGS button on your hosting service.
3. Click LOGIN TO CPANEL on the left hand column menu
4. Under "General Information" on the right hand column menu, click SSL/TLS STATUS in the blue box.
5. Click the top-left box to TICK every box on the left column.
6. Click on the blue RUN-AUTOSSL box at top of page.

Note: it can take up to 10-20 minutes to complete the installation. You will see a GREEN LOCK SYMBOL when it has worked. Also, you may need to check if it has worked using a different internet network or/or browser due to cookies and cache issues.

Troubleshoot: if the AutoSSL install doesn't work, ensure you check that your nameservers are set correctly (SSL auto install WON'T WORK if your Name Servers were not set correctly in the first place).
