To change your DNS Settings for SquareSpace accounts:

Squarespace

Note: if you have email or website hosting with us, please don't change your default nameservers (ns1.reg.net.au and ns2.reg.net.au) as these services will stop working if you do.

Here's how to change your nameservers;

1. Login to your account.
2. Click on MY DOMAINS.
3. Choose the domain name you want to change DNS, and click on the green SETTINGS button.
4. On the left margin menu, choose DOMAIN OPTIONS
5. In the dropdown menu box (DNS Configuration is currently set to:) change to DNS HOSTING.
6. Next, in the left margin menu, choose DNS MANAGEMENT.
7. Now you can add all the CNAME and A Records according to the SquareSpace documentation.

Shopify

To connect your domain name to Shopify, you need to update the DNS records for your domain.

To change the DNS records for your domain, you need to:

1. Login to your account.
2. Click on the GREEN SETTINGS button at the end of your domain name.
3. Click on DNS MANAGEMENT in the left menu.
4. Click on the GREEN PLUS sign and create a new A RECORD (as indicated by Shopify instructions)
5. Click on the GREEN PLUS sign and add a new CNAME RECORD (as indicated by Shopify instructions)
