Setting Up Email on iPhone Print

Please see the below steps on setting up email hosting on your iPhone, these steps will also apply to any other brand of phone, or your computer. We would also advise copying and pasting where necessary as it is case-sensitive.

 

Create your first email address.

1. Log into your Reg account via https://admin.reg.com.au/login
2. Select the MY HOSTING orange button.
3. Select the green SETTINGS button next to - 1GB Web/Email Hosting
4. Once the page has loaded scroll down to 'Quick Create Email Account'
5. This is where you can choose what you would like your new email to be, for example; info@yournewdomain.com.au or [NAME]@yournewdomain.com.au. You will also create a password. This email and password are essential for the next steps below.
6. Select CREATE new email.

 

Setting up email hosting on your phone.

Before you start, be sure to have these handy:
* Your new domain name:
* Your new email hosting (the one you just created in the above steps)
* Your new email password: (the one you just created in the above steps)

On your phone, go to your Settings > scroll down and select Mail> Select Accounts > Add new account > Other > Add a Mail account

Input the below information.

Name: Name of business
Email: The new email
Password: The new password
Description: Automatically fills
Press NEXT in the top right corner

Select POP at the top
Name: Name of business
Email: The new email
Description: The domain you purchased

Incoming Mail Server
Hostname: mail.(yourdomain).com.au
User name: The new email
Password: The new password

Outgoing Mail server:
Hostname: mail.(yourdomain).com.au
User name: The new email
Password: The new password

Press the SAVE button (top right), the screen will say it is ‘Verifying’

It can take a few moments so please give it time to verify the information

To send/receive emails, they should now be visible in your Mail App on your Phone.

To set up on your Windows computer, all the information you need to input is the exact same as above, the structure might vary slightly depending on which version of Windows you have but it will require the same information.

1. Click on the Settings icon (gear) > Manage Accounts > Add Account.
2. A new window will open. Select “Other Account” from the list.
3. Enter your New Email address, Full Name, and Email Password
4. Click “Sign In” and you're done!
