Here's how to forward your new domain name to an existing website.

You can also forward a new email address to an existing email address.

  1. Login to your account.
  2. Click on MY DOMAINS.
  3. Choose the domain name you want to setup URL forwarding for, and click on the GREEN SETTINGS button.
  4. On the left margin menu, choose DOMAIN OPTIONS.
  5. In the white dropdown menu, choose URL and EMAIL FORWARDING (note, if you have email or web builder services with us, your services will stop working if you change this)

For URL Forwarding;

  1. Click on the DNS MANAGEMENT option in the white left menu.
  2. Next to URL FORWARDS, click on the GREEN PLUS button.
  3. Enter "newdomain.com.au" in HOST NAME field, "existingdomain.com.au" in ADDRESS field, and TYPE should be "URL Forward". Click on the GREEN TICK to approve.

For Email Forwarding;

  1. If you are sure, click OK to change to URL FORWARDING for your domain name.
  2. Next, click on the EMAIL FORWARDING option in the white left menu.
  3. Click on the GREEN PLUS button to add your new email to forward to your existing. Click on the GREEN TICK to approve.


    Note: it can take around 2 hours for these changes to take effect. You may also need to check it has worked on another device and different internet connection to see the changes, as your cache may not clear for many hours.
